Filter
- If no filter is
specified, only the closest emergency shelter (regardless of type) will be
provided in the results. Use the filter button to filter the shelters by the following types:
- General
Shelter - Public shelter
- Pet Friendly
Shelter - People and pets are housed in
separate locations at the shelter. Pets must be crated.
Refer to the Volusia County EM mobile app or EM web pages for additional
details.
- People & Pet
Shelter - People and pets are housed in the same location. Volusia County
Fairgrounds only.
- Special Needs
Shelter - Assists evacuees with
disabilities or functional medical needs. All special needs shelters are
pet friendly for special needs persons only. Evacuees and their service
animals will remain in the same location.
